1/2 cup diced jalapenos (fresh or pickled, adjust to taste)

2 tbsp melted butter, for brushing
Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Cut in cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Gently stir in buttermilk until just combined. Do not overmix.
